Online Party Poker Bot Invasion

Are you losing money playing online poker? What could be even worse is the fact you are not even losing to a human opponent. Party Poker Bots have become common place in online poker rooms since 1st February 2004 when Winholdem a commercially available bot launched.
Many online poker rooms have tried to stop this bot invasion, by placing countermeasures in their software. By using one computer to control a second computer, these bots become undetectable.

Because bots can play mathematically perfect poker hour after hour, they are very difficult to beat in large ring games, which reward tight and consistent play. Bots do not fair well in a short game, becoming to predictable and simplistic, with their style of play.

Bots are usually custom programmed, even commercially available bots like Winholdem use tables and formulas that can be adjusted by the bot user, to give each bot its own unique style of play. As an online poker player, you will not be able to tell the difference between a bot and a real player.

Bots may also card share, knowing other bots cards at the table will prevent bots from drawing dead (investing money on a hand, with no chance of winning).

If you have found yourself losing recently at online poker here are some tips:
- Play games that do not have structured betting. Pot-limit, no-limit and tournaments are all excellent games to be playing.
- Also play at a site that does not attract professional poker players and can offer you good bonuses.

Recommended is a site like MtEverestPoker.com. It is connected with a group of online casinos that offer a very large bonus in order to attract gamblers rather than party poker players. Many players at this site choose to play in Pot-Limit or No-Limit games, as well as the many poker tournaments.

The Winholdem software cannot read the MtEverestPoker.com screen. So it is a site where you will be safe from Party Poker Bot users.
